MailCOPA Multi User Email Software - Hotmail

MailCOPA  support the fetching of message from Hotmail accounts.

Since this feature was introduced into MailCOPA, Microsoft has changed its policy to collection by this method, and you may find it is not possible.

Such accounts can be configured here. Note that the following features are not available:

Hotmail servers have been slower in testing than many POP3 servers.

There is no provision for sending messages via Hotmail servers. If you wish to send messages using Hotmail addresses as the source, this is theoretically possible in the usual way, via a mail gateway (relay).

However, some mail gateways will refuse to accept messages whose source is a Hotmail address. In such circumstances you can configure the From: address here with an address acceptable to the gateway, but use the Hotmail address in the Reply-to: field, also here.
